Invitation Letter to Hakha and Dawei Consultation Meetings

Dear Colleagues: It is my pleasure to inform you that the Government of Myanmar is organizing consultation meetings in Chin State, Shan State and Tanintharyi Region to assist in identifying the townships that will benefit from the National Community Driven Development Project. We are inviting non-governmental organizations, civil society groups and development partners with active programs in the respective Region/State to attend the meetings. The meeting will be held in Hakha on 26 February 2013 and Dawei on 27 February 2013. You find attached a short note on the township selection process, the agenda for the Dawei and Hakha meeting and the project information document. Please note that all meetings will be held in Myanmar language without translation. Non-governmental organizations, civil society groups and development partners with an active program in Shan State and interested in participating in the Dawei and Hakha meeting should please contact us at kzaw.dda@gmail.com and kokhy.drd@gmail.com by 8 February.
