Three days Gender
Awareness Training for various office staff of the Department of Rural
Development was held at the Department of Rural Development. This training held
on 29 March, 1st - 2nd April, 2013.
Training aimed to get awareness and understanding about gender, gender
equality and gender equity among the government staffs. Training lecturers,
officers from Ministry of Social Welfare, was discussed and special focused on
gender equality, introducing the key points. Altogether 22 participants (21
Female and 1 Male) participate in the training.
