Invitation Letter for NCDD Project Consultation Meeting in Sittwe Township (Rakhine State)

Dear Colleagues:

It is my pleasure to inform you that the Government of Myanmar is organizing consultation meetings in Sagaing Region, Magway Region, Ayeyarwaddy Region, Karen State and Rakhine State to assist in identifying the townships that will benefit from the National Community Driven Development Project (Ludu Bahopyu Project). We are inviting Non-Governmental Organizations, Civil Society Groups, Community Based Organizations and Development Partners with active programs in the respective Region/State to attend the meetings.

The meeting will be held at City Hall, Sittwe Township, Rakhine State, on 20^th December, 2013. You find attached a short note on the township selection process, the agenda for the Sittwe meeting and the project information document. Please note that all meetings will be held in Myanmar language without translation.

Non-Governmental Organizations, Civil Society Groups, Community Based Organizations and Development Partners with an active program in Rakhine State and interested in participating in the Sittwe meeting should please contact us at cdd.drdmyanmar@gmail.com by 17^th December, 2013. လူထုဗဟိုျပဳစီမံကိန္း (လူထုအေျချပဳဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးေရး အမ်ိဳးသားစီမံကိန္း) ဒုတိယႏွစ္ အေကာင္အထည္ေဖၚ ေဆာင္ရြက္ရန္ စစ္ကိုင္းတိုင္းေဒသႀကီး၊ မေကြးတိုင္း ေဒသႀကီး၊ ဧရာဝတီတိုင္း ေဒသႀကီး၊ ကရင္ ျပည္နယ္တို႔တြင္ စီမံကိန္းျမိဳ႕နယ္တစ္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္စီ ေရြးခ်ယ္ရန္အတြက္ အႀကံဉာဏ္ ရယူျခင္း အစည္း အေဝးမ်ားကို သက္ဆိုင္ရာ တိုင္းေဒသႀကီး/ ျပည္နယ္ ၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္မ်ားတြင္ က်င္းပခဲ့ျပီး ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ ယင္းအစည္းအေဝးသို႔ တိုင္းေဒသႀကီး/ ခရိုင္/ ၿမိဳ႕နယ္အဆင့္ ဌာနဆိုင္ရာ တာဝန္ရွိသူမ်ား၊ အစိုးရ မဟုတ္ေသာ အဖြဲ႕အစည္းမ်ား၊ လူမႈအဖြဲ႕အစည္းမ်ား၊ လူထုအေျချပဳ အဖြဲ႕ အစည္းမ်ား၊ တိုင္းရင္းသား ကိုယ္စားလွယ္မ်ား၊ ေဒသတြင္း ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးေရးလုပ္ငန္း ေဆာင္ရြက္ေနေသာ အဖြဲ႕အစည္းမ်ားအား ဖိတ္ၾကားခဲ့ပါသည္။

ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္အတြက္ အစည္းအေဝးကို ၂၀၁၃၊ ဒီဇင္ဘာလ ၂၀ ရက္ေန႔တြင္ စစ္ေတြၿမိဳ႕၊ ျမိဳ႕ေတာ္ခန္းမ၌ က်င္းပမည္ ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ စီမံကိန္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္ ေရြးခ်ယ္မႈဆိုင္ရာ သတ္မွတ္ခ်က္မ်ား၊ အစည္းအေဝး အစီအစဥ္ႏွင့္ စီမံကိန္း အခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို ဤစာႏွင့္အတူ ပူးတြဲေပးပို႔အပ္ပါသည္။ အစည္းအေဝး ကို ျမန္မာဘာသာ တစ္မ်ိဳးတည္းျဖင့္သာ ေဆာင္ရြက္မည္ျဖစ္ၿပီး ဘာသာျပန္ေပးမည့္ အစီအစဥ္ ပါဝင္ျခင္း မရွိပါ။
