REQUST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

National Community Driven Development Project

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the National Community Driven Development Project. The Department of Rural Development of the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Rural Development, which implements the National Community Driven Development Project, intends to apply part of the proceeds for the hiring of the following individual consultant positions.

The contract will cover for a period of 12 months starting from May 2014 and will be extended based on the performance of individual consultant, need for the services and the availability of funds.

1. Secretary (C-8-2014)
2. Translator (C-9-2014)
3. Finance and Operations Consultant (C-11-2014)
4. Finance Assistant (C-12-2014)

The Department of Rural Development (DRD) now invites expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Myanmar Nationals for the above positions. 

Interested consultants may obtain copies of the detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for these positions from the Community Driven Development Project (http://cdd.drdmyanmar.com)

In submitting their expressions of interest, consultants are kindly requested to indicate the positions they apply and the reference numbers stated above. Interested consultants must provide their updated curriculum vitae, indicating personal and technical skills, qualifications and experience in similar assignments along with the names of at least two (2) referees with their contact information (e-mail address, telephone or fax numbers). Expressions of Interest must be submitted in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by fax or by e-mail) by March 28, 2014.

The successful consultant will be selected in accordance with the provisions, under the World Bank's “Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans, IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011”.
