The National Community Driven Development Project in Myanmar will be implemented in fifteen townships in Myanmar. The selection of the target township is undertake with the various consultations by regional government, peoples in the region, CSOs, NGOs, authorities, officials and stake holders. The Consultation meetings for selection of the Townships in Shan State, on February 14th, in Chin State, on February 26th, and in Taninthari Region, at February 27th, is Held at Respective City of the Region and States. In all consultation meeting, respective Chief Ministers were Present, UN Agencies, iNGOs, NGOs, CSOs, CBOs, Development Partners, Ethnic Leaders, and Representatives Participated. The Participants Separated into TEN Groups, and each group selects THREE Townships in priority. The Frequency and Weighted Score are calculated and REVIEWED by all participants. After the selection process, the all records and Weighted assessment results are submitted to Chief Minister to forward to Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and Ministry of Border Affairs, with comments on each township. Later on that, these ministries will forward to Foreign Aid Management Working Committee, this Committee will chose ONE Township in each Region and State. The Selected Township will be forwarded to WORLD BANK for no-objection. After receiving of no-objection from WORLD BANK, the project will be implemented in that TOWNSHIP.
